Have you been seeing crochet pumpkins pop up everywhere and been scared to try one for yourself? I got you, boo! Live this morning on my YouTube channel, you can find my Basic Ribbed Pumpkin video crochet pattern!
Free Basic Ribbed Crochet Pumpkin Video Pattern and Tutorial
In this video, I will show you how to work this pattern from start to finish. If you can half double crochet, you can make this pumpkin, my friend! The trickiest part is the foundation half double crochet stitch, which I will walk you through, as well as share a couple tips I use to make mine!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Bulky CYC 6 yarn (Wool Ease Thick & Quick used in the video)
- Hook: 6.5mm / U.S. Size K
- Tapestry Needle
- Stump (a short piece of wood, cinnamon stick, cork, etc)
- Fiber Fill (pillow stuffing)
- Hot Glue Gun or craft/fabric glue (optional)
- Decorative ribbon (optional) – 3/8″ used here
And, just in case you only need the written pattern, you can find that in the description of the video as well!
