FREE Christmas Flower Ornament Pattern

Hi there my fellow yarn lover!

I’m so glad you’re here! In case we haven’t met yet, I’m Kristen, the heart and hands behind the Hooks, Books, & Wanderlust blog!

As a Stage III breast cancer survivor, I’ve learned life is short and it’s so important to do what you can to bring as much joy and love to your life as you can. On this blog, I share my three biggest hobbies that bring me so much joy in life: crochet, books, and travel, with a few other odds and ends thrown in. It is my goal to help inspire you to do what brings YOU joy. Since you’ve come here from a crochet-related blog hop, my more specific goal for that is to help you take your crochet skills to the next level with easy-to-understand patterns and tutorials aimed at teaching. Whether you’re a beginner or have been doing this for a while, there’s something here for everyone!

Today, November 5th, as part of Blue Star Crochet’s Crochet Freebie Blog Hop, I’m sharing a PDF crochet pattern to make my Christmas Flower Ornament, which can also be used as an earring pattern!

Awesome! What’s in the PDF?

The Christmas Flower Ornament pattern is recommended for intermediate crocheters, but an adventurous beginner could certainly attempt it too! The pattern is written for crochet thread, which can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! I walk you through the whole thing, so don’t sweat it! However, you can certainly change it up with different hooks and yarn weights to make this your own!

These make great gifts, present toppers, or string them up and make a festive garland! The sky is the limit!

The pattern is written in US terms in English only and includes:

  • Photo + video stitch tutorials for
    • the magic cicle/ring,
    • the puff stitch,
    • the picot
  • Full written pattern with round by round photos
  • Complementary video pattern
  • Stitch chart for more visual reference
  • Earring Modification using #10 thread
  • BONUS! I’m also including a set of printable tags for your finished ornaments!
    • PDF with trim lines to cut by hand
    • PNG to upload into electronic cutting software to print and cut

Today, November 5th, as part of Blue Star Crochet’s Crochet Freebie Blog Hop, you can this PDF Christmas Flower Ornament Pattern for FREE! Woohoo! But hurry, you only have 24 hours, starting at 7am CST today through 6:59am CST tomorrow!
